These terms apply to the Gesture Gym website and drawing-practice app, provided by Marcel Wichmann under the name Tiptop Software.

A little practice goes a long way

Gesture Gym provides drawing exercises and tools for creative practice. Features, availability, and supported devices may change as the app develops. The website’s launch information does not promise a particular release date, feature set, or price.

Using the app

You may use Gesture Gym for your own drawing practice in accordance with applicable law and the license supplied with the app. Please do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, manipulate community counts, or use content you do not have permission to use.

For downloads through the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a separate license is supplied with that download. Apple’s applicable store terms also govern App Store transactions.

Your work stays yours

You retain your rights to drawings and other content you create or import. Processing and syncing that content is limited to providing the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. Uploading content does not transfer ownership to Tiptop Software.

The app, website, branding, and supplied reference materials remain the property of their respective owners. Access to reference materials does not transfer their copyright or grant permission to redistribute them. Please respect any source-specific licenses.

iCloud and your data

Some features depend on Apple’s iCloud services, an internet connection, and available storage. Syncing can be delayed or unavailable. Keep your own copies of work that matters to you. Deleting the app may leave data in iCloud; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Newsletter

Subscribing is optional and free. Confirm your email address to receive Gesture Gym updates, and unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email. A newsletter subscription does not create an obligation to purchase anything.

Membership

Practising in Gesture Gym is free. A paid membership unlocks extra features, which the app describes before you buy. Memberships are sold through the App Store: Apple is the seller, charges your Apple Account, and handles payment, cancellation, and refunds under its applicable terms. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

• Monthly and yearly memberships are auto-renewing subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings, or from the membership page in the app.
• Free trial. A yearly membership may start with a free trial for people who haven’t had one. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription begins and is charged when it does.
• Lifetime membership is a single purchase. It does not renew and is not charged again.

If you have bought a membership before, for example on another device, use Restore Purchases in the app. If a membership ends, the drawings, canvases, and packs you made stay yours and stay in the app; only the membership features themselves stop being available.

Availability and responsibility

I aim to keep Gesture Gym useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every issue will be avoided. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes and applicable law

Updates to these terms will be posted here with an updated date. Posting an update does not remove existing mandatory rights or replace any consent required by law. German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence.
